Thermofix® HP Double Belt Press

"Heating up, pressure squeezing and cooling down in one process"

The Thermofix® HP Double Belt Oven is a further development of the Thermofix® LP Flatbed Laminating Line, to a continuous working press principle with innovative technical know-how.

The product is travelling through the Double Belt Press between two Teflon coated conveyor belts and is heated up by heating plates placed behind the conveyor belts.

The material between both conveyor belts, is continuously squeezed by one or more consecutively positioned pairs of calender nip rollers.

Similar to the heating up-process is the cooling down-process realized by cooling plates, placed behind the conveyors but additionally with partial pressure to achieve the required product thickness.

Fields of Application

The Double Belt Press is used in different industry branches:

  • Production of composites used as flat panels for the shipbuilding, rail vehicle and truck and trailer industry.

  • Consolidation of glass fibres or nature fibres in relation with melting fibres, e.g. Twintex, especially for the automobile industry.

  • For pressing scattered textile waste to isolating panels for the building industry.
